About Edge
Edge at Paultons Park is a Zamperla Disk'O spinning disc ride that opened in 2009. Riders sit facing outwards on a giant rotating disc that slides back and forth along a 90-metre half-pipe track, reaching 15 metres in height and around 43 mph at each peak. A single cycle lasts roughly 90 seconds.
Edge has a 1.2m height restriction (minimum age 6) and is one of Paultons' faster family thrill rides. Queues run 15-30 minutes on busy days. The combination of the rotation and the track motion produces noticeable airtime at the top of each pass without being aggressive - a good step up before tackling Cobra or Storm Chaser.
