Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is the UK's most-visited tourist attraction outside London and has been running on the Lancashire seafront since 1896. It's famous for its historic wooden coaster collection - the Grand National (a rare duelling Möbius-track woodie from 1935), Big Dipper, Nickelodeon Streak - alongside modern rides like Icon (a double-launched Mack coaster) and The Big One (a 235-foot hyper coaster, the UK's tallest).

Flamingo Land in North Yorkshire is a theme park and zoo combined, set between Malton and Pickering on the edge of the North York Moors. The coaster line-up is one of the strongest in the north of England: Sik is a ten-inversion looping coaster, Kumali an inverted coaster, Mumbo Jumbo a beyond-vertical drop, Velocity a launched motorbike coaster, and Hero a flying coaster. The zoo side has lions, giraffes, rhinos and the flamingos that give the park its name.
