What each one is.

Caribbean Bay

Caribbean Bay is the water park beside Everland in Yongin, south of Seoul, and one of the largest water parks in Asia. The outdoor side, open through the summer, has the Mega Storm family raft ride, the Aqualoop trapdoor slide, the Tower Boomerango and a large wave pool, while an indoor section with its own wave pool, lazy river and spa keeps the park open through the Korean winter.

Summer weekends and the late-July to mid-August peak bring the longest queue times, when the outdoor slides can run to an hour or more. Check the live wait times before you go and use the crowd calendar to find a quieter weekday.

Everland

Everland is South Korea's largest theme park, in Yongin about an hour south of Seoul, and is run by Samsung's leisure arm. Its headline ride is T Express, a wooden coaster with a 77 degree first drop that is regularly ranked among the best in Asia. Around it are the Safari World bus tour past lions and tigers, the Amazon Express rapids, the Rolling X-Train looping coaster and the Thunder Falls flume, with a large zoo and seasonal flower festivals across the year.
