Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris is Europe's largest Disney resort, set in Chessy on the Marne-la-Vallée RER line about 40 minutes east of central Paris. The resort includes two parks - Disneyland Park (Sleeping Beauty Castle, Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor, Hyperspace Mountain) and Walt Disney Studios Park (Tower of Terror, Ratatouille, Avengers Campus) - plus seven Disney hotels and Disney Village.
Disneyland Paris is busy all year round, with peak periods during French, UK and Spanish school holidays, plus Christmas, Halloween and the 33rd-anniversary celebrations. Quiet periods do exist: mid-January to mid-March and early November. Check live wait times across both parks to plan your route, and use our crowd calendar to pick a lower-crowd date for your visit.
Disneyland Paris live queue times Futuroscope
Futuroscope, just north of Poitiers in western France, is unlike any other park on this site: it grew out of a 1980s cinema and technology showcase and still leans on immersive theatres, simulators and screen-based attractions rather than steel coasters. Tornado Chasers is a spinning storm-chase simulator, The Extraordinary Journey a flying theatre over the world's landmarks, and Destination Mars the park's spinning family coaster. The Aquascope water park opened alongside the main park in 2024.
Because most attractions are shows with fixed capacity and start times, wait times here behave differently from a coaster park: a queue can be long simply because the next showing is twenty minutes away. Check the live queue times on the day and use the crowd calendar to avoid the French school holidays, when the park is at its fullest.
