04 · The parks

What each one is.

Fuji-Q Highland

Fuji-Q Highland sits at the foot of Mount Fuji in Fujiyoshida and is known for record-chasing coasters. FUJIYAMA is the classic hyper coaster with views of the mountain, Eejanaika is a 4th-dimension coaster with seats that spin through the inversions, Takabisha has a beyond-vertical first drop, and ZOKKON is the newest launched coaster. Senritsu Meikyu is one of the longest walk-through haunted attractions in the world, and Thomas Land covers younger visitors.

The big coasters are sensitive to wind, so they often close for part of the day when the weather turns, and the live board here shows those closures as they happen. Japanese public holidays, Golden Week and the summer holidays are the busiest times; ordinary weekdays outside school holidays are far calmer. Check the live queue times before you go and use the crowd calendar to choose a quieter day.
