Fuji-Q Highland
Fuji-Q Highland sits at the foot of Mount Fuji in Fujiyoshida and is known for record-chasing coasters. FUJIYAMA is the classic hyper coaster with views of the mountain, Eejanaika is a 4th-dimension coaster with seats that spin through the inversions, Takabisha has a beyond-vertical first drop, and ZOKKON is the newest launched coaster. Senritsu Meikyu is one of the longest walk-through haunted attractions in the world, and Thomas Land covers younger visitors.
The big coasters are sensitive to wind, so they often close for part of the day when the weather turns, and the live board here shows those closures as they happen. Japanese public holidays, Golden Week and the summer holidays are the busiest times; ordinary weekdays outside school holidays are far calmer. Check the live queue times before you go and use the crowd calendar to choose a quieter day.

Universal Studios Japan opened in Osaka in 2001 and is now one of the busiest theme parks in the world. Super Nintendo World is the headline land, with Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge and the Donkey Kong Country expansion's Mine Cart Madness, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter has Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Flight of the Hippogriff. Hollywood Dream - The Ride, The Flying Dinosaur and JAWS round out the big rides, and the park runs a long programme of Japanese anime and game tie-ins through the year.
Waits here are some of the longest anywhere: Super Nintendo World rides regularly pass two hours on weekends. Japanese holidays such as Golden Week, the summer Obon break and the New Year are the times to avoid, and Halloween Horror Nights packs the autumn evenings. Weekdays from mid-January to early March are usually the quietest. Check the live queue times before you go and use the crowd calendar to pick a weekday.
