LEGOLAND California sits in Carlsbad, 30 minutes north of San Diego, and was the second LEGOLAND park to open (1999). Other rides include Thunderhawk suspended coaster, Wolverine Wildcat, and a full WildWater Adventure water park included with admission.

Michigan's Adventure has a short operating season (roughly May to early September) with peak crowds on summer weekends and during US school holidays. Weekdays are usually very relaxed, with queue times on most rides staying under 20 minutes.
