LEGOLAND Florida sits in Winter Haven, about 45 minutes south-west of Orlando, on the site of the old Cypress Gardens. Michigan's Adventure is the state's largest theme park, sitting in Muskegon on Lake Michigan's east coast. It's a mid-sized park best known for Shivering Timbers - a 125-foot-tall wooden out-and-back coaster consistently rated among the country's best woodies. Other rides include Thunderhawk suspended coaster, Wolverine Wildcat, and a full WildWater Adventure water park included with admission.
Michigan's Adventure has a short operating season (roughly May to early September) with peak crowds on summer weekends and during US school holidays. Weekdays are usually very relaxed, with queue times on most rides staying under 20 minutes.
