About Millennium Force
Millennium Force at Cedar Point is a 310-foot Intamin Giga coaster opened in 2000, the first coaster in the world to break the 300-foot height barrier. Layout is a sustained-speed out-and-back with no inversions but multiple airtime hills and overbanked turns. Top speed 93 mph, ride duration around 2 minutes.
Millennium Force has remained a top-three Cedar Point ride by popularity for over two decades. Queues typically run 60-100 minutes on busy days. The back row's view across Lake Erie at the top of the lift hill is one of the most photographed moments in the park. Throughput is high, so queues clear faster than they look.
