About Wild Eagle

Wild Eagle at Dollywood is a Bolliger and Mabillard wing coaster opened in 2012, the first wing coaster built in the United States. Riders sit on either side of the track rather than above or below it, providing unobstructed views. Layout features four inversions, a 21-storey first drop and top speed 61 mph. Ride duration about 2 minutes.

Wild Eagle is the highest-elevation coaster at Dollywood and the panoramic views from the lift hill are some of the best in the Smoky Mountains. Queues run 30-60 minutes on busy days. The outermost seats deliver the strongest sense of unsupported flight through the inversions.
