Wodan - Timburcoaster at Europa-Park is the park's wooden coaster, opened in 2012 in the Iceland themed area. Built by Great Coasters International (GCI), it features a 100-foot first drop, several airtime hills and one of the longest wooden coaster layouts in Europe. Top speed 100 km/h, ride duration about 2 minutes.
Wodan delivers stronger airtime than most modern wooden coasters, especially in the back row. Queues are typically 20-45 minutes on busy days. Pair with Blue Fire next door for a coaster-heavy hour in the Iceland area. The brake run audio of Norse drums is one of the park's signature theming touches.
