Hex - The Legend of the Towers is the indoor dark ride housed inside the original Alton Towers manor house. The pre-show tells the legend of the chained oak and the curse on the Earl of Shrewsbury, and the main ride itself is an enclosed rotating-room experience that gives the illusion of barrel-rolling without the riders actually inverting.
