Colossus at Thorpe Park was the world's most-inverting coaster when it opened in 2002, with 10 inversions across its 850m of track. The line-up includes a vertical loop, a cobra roll, a double corkscrew and four heartline rolls in a row. Top speed 45 mph, ride duration about 90 seconds. The compact layout makes it photogenic from almost any angle in the park.

Colossus's hourly capacity is high - typically the shortest queue among the major coasters. Waits commonly stay under 20 minutes on weekdays. Riders who don't like repeated inversions should sit it out: those four rolls in a row are the defining feature.

Colossus has averaged about 16 minutes of wait over recent weeks, and is typically busiest around 10:00 and quietest around 16:00. Over the last two weeks it has been open around 92% of the park's operating hours. It's typically quietest on Sundays and busiest on Mondays.
