About Nemesis Inferno

Nemesis Inferno at Thorpe Park is a Bolliger and Mabillard inverted coaster that opened in 2003, sister ride to Alton Towers' original Nemesis but with a tropical volcanic theme. Riders sit with feet dangling and the track passes through four inversions including a vertical loop, cobra roll and corkscrew. Top speed 50 mph, ride duration about 90 seconds.

Inferno's queues are usually moderate (30-50 minutes mid-day) - shorter than Hyperia, longer than Colossus. The location near the front of the park means it gets a hit at opening; for shorter waits, ride mid-afternoon when the crowd has migrated to the back of the park.

Nemesis Inferno has averaged about 36 minutes of wait over recent weeks, and is typically busiest around 1pm and quietest around 5pm. Over the last two weeks it has been open around 92% of the park's operating hours. It's typically quietest on Mondays and busiest on Saturdays.
